Research |
- Case Studies (similar to Harvard MBA Class Case Studies) of Best Practices in Social Entrepreneurship in India for Asian Institute of Management - Asian Center for Entrepreneurship (AIM-ACE), Manila, Philippines and Conference of Asian Foundations and Organisations (CAFO) and partially funded by Japan Foundation. These case studies have been published as a part of the book on Social Entrepreneurship entitled Creating Space in the Market: Social Enterprise Stories in Asia which documents 13 cases of significant or exemplary practices in social entrepreneurship in four Asian countries, namely, India, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
- Social market research and socio-economic impact study of Village Internet/Information Kiosk Model specifically of Drishtee Dot Com Ltd. and in general of n-Logue, TaraHaat, ITC's e-choupal, HP's Kuppam and EID-Parry's kiosks for Digital Partners/Intel Research. The project was spread over 30 villages (population less than 2,000 people per village) across 4 states of India.
- Preparation of an "Advocacy Document" on the Special Gender Initiative (SGI) of United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India.
- India Country Report on Governance, Organizational Effectiveness and the Non-profit sector for Asia Pacific Philanthropy Consortium (APPC).
- Global Social Investing in India - A country Case study for the Global Equity Initiative, Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
- Diaspora Indians - On the Philanthropy Fast-Track - A study of NRI Philanthropy from the UK, USA, Middle and Far East - under a Centre for Advancement of Philanthropy and Ford Foundation Research Grant.

- 2-days Capacity Building Workshop (CBW) at Mumbai with 3 resource persons on Sept 23-24, 2009 for Johnson & Johnson for 35 participants from 14 NGOs and J&J India Contributions Committee
- 3-days classroom training at Hubli with 2 trainers on Nov 7-9, 2008 for Deshpande Foundation for 22 social entrepreneurs.
Events Management |
- A two-day international conference on ‘Legal Empowerment for the Poor’ – organizing for Multi-Action Research Group (MARG). 75 persons from 8 countries including India will participate.
- A two-day (Apr 3-4, 2010) national meeting in New Delhi entitled, “National Consultation on Prisons” co-organised with Human Rights Law Network (HRLN). 150 participants attended from 23 states of India.
- Organised Focus Groups for Asia-Pacific Philanthropy Consortium (APPC) at Mumbai and Delhi.
